1965 Ford Mustang V8 Outstanding

Here we have a stunning 1965 Mustang convertible. This is one of the early examples of this iconic convertible, dressed in Poppy red with the light Palomino interior. Built in Ford’s Dearborn manufacturing plant, it was then shipped to Los Angeles district to find its new owner, and no doubt spent its early life cruising highway 1. The Mustang had a restoration two years ago whilst in the states and is in magnificent condition throughout. After that the Mustang found its way to our shores to its new owner. Who has enjoyed it with his collection of other super cars. Unfortunately another super car has been purchased and as a result something had to leave the garage and we are lucky enough to now have this Mustang for sale.

The car was an original C code V8 with the automatic gearbox, and it was also built with the must have option of the power electric convertible top (the top is also new). Therefore this Mustang is still original to its built , although it has a slightly bigger carburettor now fitted. On sunny days there is nothing better than pushing your finger on the switch and the electric roof folds down effortlessly.

New torque thrust wheels and BF Goodridge tyres have just been fitted. The interior has also been replaced during its restoration, a great deal of time and effort has been spent adding all new carpets, seat covers, door cards, dashboard, gauges, and all other chrome work.

The exterior bodywork is in top shape and all chrome has been replaced and as one can imagine the underside is solid throughout. This Mustang has had a great deal of expense to get it to this condition throughout. We have five ramps in our Mustang workshop, so a full inspection can be undertaken.

This beautiful classic convertible Mustang is offered here just in time for the summer cruising to the continent, or to the next classic car show where you would be very proud to win some trophies!

As with all our Mustangs, it has our own guarantee attached to it for peace of mind. It also goes through our 148-point check, and our 150 mile test drive, before delivery.
