Owners Repaint 1969 Mustang Mach 1 To Original Color

When the current owner purchased this 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in 2014, he didn’t dare to change anything. Everything was good for him, as the pony car looked pristine and ran great. Its 428-ci engine now delivers 463 hp, instead of the original output of 335 hp. There was no need for a change, even though the pony car has a five-speed transmission instead of a four-speed gearbox.

However, the reddish-orange color of Calypso Coral grew on him, and he eventually decided to give Ford a new paint job. But he intended the new finish to match the car’s original color—purple. The owner got his wish, and the car now looks like it just rolled off the production line. As for the other elements, they’ll stay on the car for now.
