Mercedes-Benz X-Class EXY 6 × 6

Hard to believe but only 1 week after the virtual pictures of the X-Class Exy Extreme, the “high 2” variant of the X-Class Exy OFF-ROAD, has tuner pickup design (subsidiary of Carlex design) another plan. And this one is definitely the most powerful. The EXY 6 × 6 concept design! A completely rebuilt Widebody Mercedes W470 with an additional axle. This one jumps into the league one Hennessey Goliath 6 × 6, one Bureko 6 × 6 and of course the big brother as BRABUS B63S – 700 6X6. But Carlex does not “just” want to add another axle to the already known X-Class Exy, but is building the X-Class from scratch. In other words, in addition to the extension of the body, there is a separate BodyKit for the 6 × 6. Of course, this is based on the previous design, but still largely unique.

There is an additional drive axle

At the front, the bumper has been given a massive design that, with additional winch and underride protection, in combination with the huge lift, gives it a martially brutal appearance. Here, too, there is of course the air scoop for the engine hood and the color-contrasting hood cover. The highlight of the 6 × 6 project is clearly the significantly extended loading area with the additional drive axle. Here a completely new design has been developed that is a widened and extended variant of the previous loading area over the entire area. The extreme wheelhouses end in a jagged rear view which is a huge highlight in the tailgate X brings. In addition, there is a completely redesigned attachment for the loading area of course, was adapted to the gained centimeter. The virtual presentation vehicle is painted in an elegant gold tone and set with lots of matte black components.

on the back fits easily a smart

It goes without saying that the interior is completely individualized, even without pictures. Incidentally, Carlex points out that this vehicle is by no means just an idea but is already under construction. At the moment, however, it is not known whether it will only be a one-off item or whether a small series will also go into production. However, we assume that the official presentation will take place this year. If we receive the first information promptly, there will of course be an update for this report.
