He opts to put the original transmission back into the ex-police car after cleaning it out as he knows it works. Once the original transmission gets put back, the car shifts into gear successfully, and he backs the car off of the lift and out of the garage.
Once outside, the fuel pump wire came off just as he starts filming again. He reconnects it and the car shifts successfully as it goes down the road, achieving the original goal he has to get the classic Dodge running again.
He believes the classic Dodge sedan got parked in the early 1990’s and has sat since. He eventually gets it up to 35 mph according to the speedometer, noting that the idle still feels off, but he can make adjustments later.
The car drives down the road on a second drive, and he notes there is still a lot of work left to do. In future videos, he’ll continue to make adjustments to the car and add a turbo in addition to some adjustments and upgrades.
