1969 Dodge SuperBee On A Lift

Before getting to the SuperBee, Ryan takes a look at a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere with a 426 wedge engine. Scott will be adding a HEMI hood scoop to the car in the process of completing the restoration to get the car finished.

The camera also pans to a project that he encourages the viewers to guess as to what vehicle it originally was. It appears it could have possibly been a Chrysler PT Cruiser that has gotten at least two of the doors removed to create a unique, smaller version of the car.

After taking a look at the shop and the vehicles in it, they take a look at the pale green 1969 Dodge SuperBee. At first glance, the car appears mostly complete and in restorable condition. The Dodge has a 383 engine with an automatic 727 transmission with console shift.

Ryan first encountered the SuperBee back in 2012 and it was sitting on the lift at that time where it remains today. This means meaning that this historic Mopar has sat on the lift for no less than 10 years.

Future Plans For The Dodge

The story is that Scott went to Detroit to get the car several years ago but has simply been too busy with other car projects to take the steps necessary to get it back up and running correctly. Underneath, there is some visible rust on the car but not so much that the car couldn’t get to a driveable condition once again.
