One significant car for Murray is a 1971 Minbug, at one point he had three others which he sold for the one he owns. He’s made modifications to it over the years and his wife did the pop riveting on the car. At one time, it was the only car that they owned.
An Abarth Obsession has an engine that literally hangs out the back and outputs 250 horsepower, making it a powerful car for its size and build. Murray also has a collection of 50-cc motorcycles and a Harley Davidson as well.
Murray talks about his collection of Abarths and Zagatos, one of which is very rare with only six models ever made. While the cars are very small, he enjoys driving them. The Honda S800 he owns is so small in fact that the seat upholstery and rubber on the pedals needed adjustment so that he could properly fit in the car given his height and the Honda’s small size.
In addition to what’s contained in the car cave, he also has a separate garage at his home which can hold several vehicles at once. Several times a year, he switches out the vehicles in his home garage so that he can drive them all easily.
